Le Colonial

Pitstop #2 was to a San Francisco favorite for the past decade of so: Le Colonial. At the site that used to be Trader Vic's (I believe this location ended up moving to
Palo Alto, but I digress)

Le Colonial evokes "evokes the ambiance of French colonial Vietnam in a lush, romantic setting" according to their site and I'd have to agree. It is the kind of place where you can get a little bit lost in the environment and even forget that you are in a big city.

The food is primarily Vietnamese some dishes have a nice French twist to them.

I would be lying if I said I remembered everything we ordered at this point, but the appetizer sampler plate is fantastic.

Overall, slightly expensive for what you get, but a fun experience, I'd definitely go back,
